About MeetAcross

Make time differences visible before you send the invite

MeetAcross is a free utility from FMFM Tools for people arranging calls across cities. It brings local dates, working hours, and meeting duration into one comparison.

The problem we focus on

A converted clock time does not tell you whether a teammate has finished work or whether a one-hour call ends too late. MeetAcross asks for a specific date and each city's working window, then checks the complete meeting. When no common window exists, seeing that clearly helps a team choose a shorter call, an agreed exception, or a written handoff.

How the tool works

Calculations run locally in your browser using its international time-zone support. You can compare up to four cities, change their working hours, share the settings in a link, and download a UTC calendar event. No account or calendar connection is required. The download sends no invitations.

The guide explains the practical limits, including the 30-minute start grid, weekday assumptions, and unsupported overnight work windows. The autumn 2026 example shows why the date matters around daylight saving changes.

Keep people in the decision

The planner does not know holidays, booked calendars, caregiving responsibilities, or personal preferences. A city is a time-zone reference, not a person. Confirm a proposed time with participants, especially when it falls outside a declared working window.

Feedback and corrections

FMFM Tools operates this site and accepts bug reports and accessibility feedback at fmfm.stars@gmail.com. If you see a wrong conversion, include the city, date, and expected result so we can reproduce it. Avoid including private meeting details. See the contact page for a useful report checklist.
